UN Recognition and First Field Mission: Unitas Humanitas Takes Action

We are proud to announce that Unitas Humanitas is now registered as a partner with the United Nations. This recognition confirms our commitment to operating in accordance with the highest international humanitarian standards.

For us, effective aid cannot be delivered remotely. This mission is vital to:

  • Validate the actual needs of displaced populations on the ground;

  • Establish direct and trusting relationships;

  • Ensure that our future actions have a concrete and lasting impact.

The adventure begins now. Follow our next steps right here.

Major Milestone: First Assessment Mission to East Africa

We are proud to announce that the Unitas Humanitas team will embark on its very first official verification and assessment mission from late January to mid-March 2026.

This pivotal journey will take us to the heart of Kenya (Nyacheki) and Uganda (Gulu and Arua). Our objective is clear: to meet with local communities, identify the most urgent needs on the ground, and establish strong partnerships for our upcoming humanitarian projects.

As an organization dedicated to human dignity, this direct presence ensures that every future action is rooted in the reality and priorities of the populations we serve. Stay tuned for live updates as we lay the foundation for our impact in East Africa.

We Are Working Towards Charitable Status

Unitas Humanitas is currently undergoing the official process to obtain Charitable Organization status with the Canadian and Quebec authorities. This status will soon allow us to issue tax receipts for donations, thereby providing a tax benefit to the individuals and organizations who support our mission.

This important step will strengthen our capacity to finance our humanitarian projects and help more vulnerable children and families.

We will keep you informed of every advancement.
